River Findhorn

The River Findhorn provides all sorts of activities from white water rafting and canoeing in the fast rapids to fishing in the more peaceful pools like this one.  The river rises in the Monadhaliath mountains and flows to Findhorn Bay in Moray.

This was take at Loch na Eillan in the heart of the Rothiemurcas estate.

Red Sky

This sunset is from Ullapool, overlooking Loch Broom late on a summers evening.

Slioch from Loch Maree heading towards Gairloch.

Stac Pollaidh

Stac Pollaidh is one of many stunning mountains in Assynt, a climbers paradise in north west Scotland.

Sea stacks

The sea stacks at Duncansby Head near John O' Groats are a haven for sea birds and well worth a visit.

Sunrise, early morning November 2007, and yes the sky was that colour. There has been no doctoring to the shot, it is as it came off the camera.

I liked the colours, the green of the bracken and the purple of the heather overlooked by the tall trees.
