Bow Fiddle Rock

This unusual rock is found just off the coast at Portknockie in Moray.  Thousands of seabirds colonise here in early summer.


A shot taken very near Dulsie bridge on the River Findhorn, It's not the biggest waterfall in the area but one of the most photogenic.

End of the Day

Taken late on a winters day with a strong breeze blowing and the sun just starting to go down.


Early May in Glencoe which meant there was still a little snow on the tops to add to this view,  The Glencoe area must have some of the most stunning views in Scotland.


On the Road to the Isles, the monument was built to mark the raising of the standard of Bonnie Prince Charlie at Glenfinnan.

Kirk ruins

A ruined church reputed to be 13th century, the early summer wildflowers in bloom and undisturbed by time.

Lochan Eillan

In the heart of Rothiemurcas near Aviemore, a lovely peaceful loch with a path round it to provide a gentle leisurely stroll.

Ben Rhinnes

This weather beaten rock is at the top of Ben Rhinnes near Aberlour.  A strenuous walk but well worth it for the views from the summit.
